I’d try something else like some Panaracer Gravelking slicks. Decent road performance with increased durability for the gravel sections.
That’s only 1,000 miles? I regularly get 4,000 miles out of GP5000’s – heck I get 3,500 miles out of the GP5000 TT-TR’s that are supposed to be a TT tire. I don’t do more than a couple miles of gravel though.
Were the tyres new when you bought them?
About 2000 miles, and no.
OP and any responders probably best to add rider weight, typical PSI, tire width, which GP5000 model to your data points
I am at about 4500km on GP5000 STRs and they still look pretty good. Not much gravel for me though.
I got till I get a tear, but so far 2400 on 1 , and 3000 on another
At least 2000 miles on mine. Are you storing the bike inside, out of the sun?
