I’ve got a aluminium bike that is 16 years old and still sees use from time to time on my regular trails.
I’ve got older bikes that are still rideable but I wouldn’t trust riding them on my regular trails any more.
If you take care of it, it can last a long time.
Your fork absorbs a lot of impact, but keep an eye on the stays behind the bottom bracket (that area has several weld zones and experiences a good amount of pedaling flex), and watch the head tube area (including under the downtube) for cracks. But I wouldn’t stress about it — I know people still shredding on their 90s Kleins!
