It’s been about a month since I got the WTP Swamp Master and figured I’d provide an update.

I’ve got about 100mi on it cruising around Seattle and it’s pretty much become my go-to bike. Done a few dirt features at Woodland Park and I5 Colonnade and it handles rough terrain like a dream. I’m 30+ and my wrists and knees definitely feel better after a ride thanks to the suspension. For riding any longer distance I lock out forks/shock and don’t really notice a +7lb weight difference from my Cult Shorty. Overall the bike probably isn’t for everyone but I’ve been having a ton of fun with it so far!

Parts I changed:
Salt Grips -> Odi Vans Lock-ons
2.6 Kenda Kaos Tires -> 2.4 Eclat Vapour Tires

To me personally, this has strayed too far from the BMX blueprint to be considered as a BMX. It’s more of a hybrid bike.

That said, I do love the look of it, and come the apocalypse, I’d want to be heading to the hills with my bug out bag on one of these bad boys.
