This wasn't my first time taking a bike apart, but it was my first time putting one together. I'm really happy with how it came together and how it rides.

I bought this to ride while I work on another project and just couldn't leave it alone. Very clean and in good condition…I did ride it plenty as is with the old downtube shifters. I think it's a 1993 model.

So I did all Shimano 105 R7000 except an Ultegra 11-32 cassette and DuraAce chain. I also did the DuraAce pulley wheels in the 105 rear derailleur because I'm just that cool/dumb. It has the 52-34 crankset with 170mm cranks.

Giant/DTSwiss PSL1 alloy wheel set (relatively light, cheap on ebay and they fit the build)

Pirelli Cinturato Velo 26mm tires and Pirelli TPU tubes. That's probably the limit on width.

Just under 10 kg or 22 lbs.

The silver 105 components were a bit of a pain to find. It was also a premium for the silver crankset especially with 170mm crank arms. I gave up trying to find the silver 105 shifters. I'm kinda bummed the crankset is almost a matte grey instead of polished silver, but I do like the look better than black on this bike. Still looks great in the sun and it feels awesome to actually finish a project.
