    Too high. I mean, it’s a good bike but it’s quite old now. The S frame was the lowest end carbon frame Trek made (it used to be S, SL, SLR) which now Trek has dropped, since it wasn’t as good as the top level ALR aluminum frame.

    The group set is probably fine, and it should be the first year of the 11spd mechanical 5800 series. The wheels are meh, the brakes are meh. The frame is not going to have clearance for the width tires people are coming to expect o n road bikes.

    If it fits and appeals to you, I’d maybe go as high as 500 or 600.
