I use the wall hangers that hold the pedal. Search for “Da-Hanger” and you’ll see them. I specifically have the “Wallman 3-pack pedal hangers”.

Where have you heard that you can’t hang a carbon bike?

The only main issue I’m aware of is clamping carbon frames in work stands, it’s best to clamp the seat post.

But I can’t imagine a carbon bike will have any issue being hung up, after all most of them are capable of supporting up to 110-125kg of human, and a gravel bike will be expected to do that off road on rough terrain.

Carbon is stronger than aluminium in a lot of ways, it’s not play-doh.

Buy some big rubber coated hooks from Hone Depot and:

1 Screw them into a stud

2 hang bike by front/rear wheel

    3 worry about something else

  4. Carbon can neither dent nor bend. That’s one of the selling points! It can crack or break with enough impact, but hanging a bicycle under its own weight won’t hurt anything. You just need to be gentle, or ensure the hooks are padded to protect the contact points with the bike.

  5. Steady Rack, or the velocirax that is similar to the one you posted here but it contacts the pedal instead of the frame
