Been looking for a mixte for a while. Finally found one I liked. I may have jumped the gun as it’s a smidge small now that it’s somewhat together.

First off, I didn’t know these old Peugeots have every part non standard. So many mix and match. It’s a 1972, everything was pretty much original. I took off the brakes, threw on some cheap side pulls and they work sooo much better. New stem for new bars, had to grind down the 22.2 stem to 22 so it would fit. Shifting is decent so will leave that alone for a while. She is fun to ride – good little cruiser. I got some bmx bars and put on because, why not?I’m 5’11” and a hair and this may be a tad too small after a while, we’ll see.

  1. Your saddle guts are on backwards and while you are fixing that level or nose the saddle up. When your hand position goes up which yours surely is the saddle has to follow.

I always liked that color green. If those are the plastic shifters I have seen on them I would swap for something more solid.
