Picked this up last night off eBay for under $100, was it a good purchase?
Just thrown on some DMR Moto DJ Tyres and a brown saddle, but looking for any advice people may have.
Any pointers on refreshing paintwork? Derusting components? Exage U Brake? Any and all information & advice welcome!!

Gawjus. Give it a bath and some maybe some rust converter if you feel so inclined.
Nothing but change the rear brake to canti and add fenders if you’re planning to ride all the time! that thing is beautiful!
All looks good tbh. It’s got the better stem, I’d keep that. Maybe bars with a slight rise and sweep for comfort. And new brake pads. Otherwise, just enjoy!
Buy a can of Loctite rust neutralizer spray, half-assed treat the brown stuff without uninstalling most of it, slap on a Wald 898, new cheap pedals, grips, and a full housing/cable kit. It’s not advice, but it’s what I’d do.
