Careful riding the railroad right of way, they take trespassing seriously.
I’ve thought about it, so long as I stay far away from the train station imagine I’d be fine… what size tires are you running… the gravel around railroads looks miserable so that along with the fact that getting stuck beside a 2 mile long train going 40mph for 30min with nowhere to go sounds awful.
I don’t even enjoy that crap on my hard tail with 2″ and up tires.. railroad ballast is hell. Definitely an adventure though.

Did it in college before the rails became trails. It was fun… once.
