I want to replace my headset. I know the size is 1 1/8 threadless headset. I am confused about what kind of headset it is. Is it Zero stack? Or an External cup?
this looks like a pretty normal straight headtube headset. if you can pop em out to measure that would be the best bet but you could likely google this info if you know what year that bike is

I think it’s a Cane Creek C1

It’s a Cane Creek C1. External cup, threadless. Internal diameter of the bearings is for a 28.6mm fork tube. I’m not 100% certain about the head tube internal diameter, so I would suggest you remove the cups and measure to be certain.
When I recently restored my CAAD4 I didn’t want to go through the process of completely replacing the headset so I disassembled the bearings and cleaned and re-greased them. The bearings are “sealed” but the housing can come apart with a little twist from a screwdriver.

Discontinued Cane Creek C1. External cups. Not zero stack.
