A BBC investigation has found that hundreds of migrants crossing into Macedonia are facing abuse, police brutality and even the risk of being kidnapped. An increasing number of migrants are trying to get to Northern and Western Europe via the Balkans.
Macedonia is one of the transit countries they travel through on their overland journey. International groups say that migrants travelling through Macedonia are often attacked by trafficking gangs and experience beatings, allegedly by the police.

  1. So a mass of illegals coming to Europe in hopes of stealing from the locals and taking government handouts without an expectation of giving back?

"Give me a home! Give me protection! Give me food! Water! Money! Oh Poor me"

  2. I like how everyone thinks that Syria was just some 3rd world shitehole before the Civil War. It wasn't. It was one of the most economically sound countries in the Middle East. It was a middle class society. These people understand how to work, and the vast majority would gladly do so in Western Europe.

  4. Lojani) is a village in the Lipkovo Municipality of the Republic of Macedonia. The settlement has an (ethnic Albanian majority)  and is located on the border with Serbia.

  5. How did so many fighting age men get to Macedonia which is landlocked and has no coastline?
Kosovo (annexed in Tony Blair's "beleive" 'everything Islamic terrorist say" Wars) frequently have atemted annex 'Muslim''  border towns in Macedonia?

  6. Why are they called Migrants and not refugees?
Don't forget the history of Palestine which was a christian nation that intentionally took in refugees.

  7. The groups or gangs kidnapping are ethnic Albanians, which were also once migrants, from the Kosovo war in 1999. Macedonia accepted some 400,000 Albanian migrants, I really don't know what else you want from Macedonia which itself is a war torn country and economically weak.

  8. BBC is not worried about potential terrorists coming to Europe i think BBC should give all these Migrants a 1st Class ticket to England.
The Macedonians are trying to protect OUR EUROPE

  9. The swedish anti immigrant party is now the biggest party in sweden according to the latest poll. It will probably grow even bigger as the flow of immigrants increases.

  10. And Lojane is an Albanian village, you know the criminals you called ''freedom fighters'' in 2001,and the guys you helped in the fight against us, maybe mention them not helping their ''muslim brothers and sisters''
