Just make sure the extra length of chain is the same type as the one you’re adding it to. And that you know how to use that chain break tool correctly.

Pop out the pins to get the extra length you need, don’t lose them, and then use the chain tool to press the pins back in to extend your chain.

(Some skinny chains have restrictions about reusing pins)
EDIT: It kind of looks like a three speed chain. Those should be OK. Just don’t push the pin all the way out because it’s a real pain to get it started. Test for tight links when done.
