  1. Look up videos on how to adjust or index a front derailleur. Basically, there is a screw on it that will move it slightly to the right which will stop this from happening. It’s pretty simple and the videos will guide you through step by step

    It’s a bike so we call that thing a derailleur 😉 If you’re lucky, there is a barrel adjuster on the cable. If you turn that clockwise, it should tighten the cable and drive the derailleur further out. If not, than you need to turn the limit screw on the top of derailleur to bring it further out. When in doubt watch a YT video on adjusting front derailleurs.

    Either the limiting screws need to be adjusted and/or the cable needs to be tightened. I suggest looking up “front derailleur setup” on Youtube (Park Tools videos are great).

  4. Could be wrong, but in the picture it looks like your front chainring “gear” isn’t straight. When you spin the cranks does it wobble around?
