As context for those who are wondering what's going on: every team has a leader and a bunch of helpers (domestiques) usually all the helpers work for the leader. Is absolutely unexpected to have the leader of the team slow down to get a bottle and then he pushes back all the way to the front to give the bottle to a teammate
