Second year riding. This is a portion of a 14 mile lap I did today. It’s always been really challenging for me and once resulted in a sprained ankle. It may not look like it, but this was by far my most successful run through here today.
The part where I come off always seems so impossible as I approach it. There’s a corner of a large rock overhanging the trail and it always screws with me. One day I’ll remember to stay far left so I can cut right just behind that fucker.
Feedback is welcomed and appreciated. Cheers!

Just grinding it out bro 💪 💯 I hit 7 miles of similar terrain on my stumpy evo after like 2mos no riding- it was an ass kicker in the best way! What bike are you riding brother??
Good on you! One of the most important things you can do in this hobby is to enjoy these sweet moments of personal progress. Keep it up
Just read your whole caption… I’m in my 2nd year as well. I got a great deal on a 3° racegace vault hub (quick af engagement) and a 32t oval RF chainring and for me- the stumpy evo climbs sooooo much better with those 2 areas addressed 🤷♂️
Why it helps is because I can get way more speed and leverage over obstacles exactly like the one that stopped you. Sometimes I gas out and do what you did. But the next time ill build speed and roll right over it with an intentional lift of the bars. Idk if that helps brother! Keep on keeping on!
hell yeah
You won’t realize it until you go somewhere a little more manicured, but climbing stuff like that will make climbs elsewhere a breeze.
