  1. Oof. That’s nowhere near the worst offenders, but that’s still a 35+ pound bike. I remember them well.

Those old heavyweights had a unique feeling at the trails. Not terrible, not amazing, but unique.

  2. I dig it. Mid schoolnis the best looks wise in my opinion. I regret selling my last pair of ditch forks for $15 lol. I came from a time in bmx when you gave parts to friends who needed them or sold them cheap to help someone out. Now it seems like people want to make all their money back on something used. I usually ask for half of the new price and expect less. That said I know building that up wasn’t cheap. Its getting hard to find good shape mid school parts for good prices.

Mid school bikes are awesome. Some of the best ones I’ve seen recently have been the mid school race bikes with modern components like carbon forks and oversized cranks. Best of both worlds

  4. The progression is my favorite frame of all time. The trailboss himself.
That’s amazing dude. Yours? A friends? Great built

  5. Man, I went through so.many legendary bikes of this era and kept NONE of them.

Trls250, STA500, black bike, Holmes, ng Holmes, barcode, all sold for like nothing lol

  6. I still have my Standard STA in my garage, 32 pounds of fury!!!. I ran those maxxis tires also back in the day. Solid looking build dude!!
