I went on a Trek Travel bike trip (Denmark / Sweden) this August with my partner, and after the trip I had 4-5 days on my own that I wanted to use to explore somewhere by bike. I did quite a bit of research to choose between Denmark and the region of Sweden where my Trek trip would end, and ultimately decided on Skåne County (southern tip of Sweden). I based myself out of Lund and crafted 3 or 4 routes in the 40-70 mile range, including with the help of some reddditors who gave excellent advice about areas and routes. I was blown away by how good the riding was. Lovely rolling hills through rural countryside, dominated by horse farms, castles, kyrkas (churches), and quaint villages. I was impressed by the quality of the paved roads I spent most of the time on, but I also got in some gravel riding too which was some of my favorite sections. I recorded a lot of video of the riding and thought it would be worth sharing, particularly if it might spur someone else to check this area out. I used an Insta360 camera and just a warning – this was my first time using the camera and making/editing videos from it, so the production quality is a little rough around the edges. Also, apologies in advance for the music 🙂 – the software I used to create the videos didn't have a great library to choose from and I haven't played around with importing my own soundtracks (yet). I've biked in many different areas around world, and it was definitely one of my all time favorite biking experiences.

That’s my part of the world :). I agree, I think the rows biking is great around here!
I’m going to put some gravel tires on my road bike for the winter months. Where were your favourite gravel sections?
