Took the plunge and ordered an electric C line 12 speed from Brompton. Looks like I grabbed the penultimate one as well.
Friday it arrived and things were a bit hectic so decided to open up on Saturday. When I finally got around to it, a bit of plastic came flying out the box. The handlebar catch had snapped before it even came out the box 😭😭😭
I know it’s kind of an easy fix, but as it’s brand new out the box, waiting for Brompton to come back to me/send me a new catch etc.
So frustrating though. I was so excited to give it its maiden voyage this weekend but alas need to wait.

Actually….why not take it for a spin? 😁 In the event you need to fold it up and transport it while out, a velcro strap can keep things together temporarily.
I’m sorry that you had trouble literally out the box, but perhaps the silver lining is that it’s a quick and easy fix that won’t require you shipping the entire bike back.
On the plus side – you picked the correct colour. 💜
