I’m no expert, but that looks like it needs bars down a bit and hoods up a bit. I don’t think you’ll get a smooth transition with this combo, not that that’s a problem.

those bars aren’t made for the “correct” hood position you’re going for. try rotating your bars downward so the flat part on the drops are parallel to the ground and raise your hoods up so they are also parallel to the ground

  3. Rotate the handlebars so the bottom end is horizontal. Then adjust the hoods so that the part you rest your hands on are also horizontal or slightly higher and your wrists are straight when your hands are on them.

  4. I personally just like to try a few positions before wrapping and sticking with what feels best!

Im a city rider so I dont like the “correct” aero setup with the bottom bars parallel to the ground since it puts my head/eyes too low to have full vision. Awareness>>>speed for me.

IME Hoods typically feel best when they smoothly transition from bar to hood. If they dip like yours are currently can lead to an uncomfortable pit for the hand between your thumb & pointer fingers. I’d move them up a little more personally.

  5. Rotate the bars so the openings where you put your bar end plugs is vertical, then set your hoods where they fit you. The bars are noe rotate too much upwards.
