Even duck tape isn’t going to be enough to save your bike. Every one stopping by should pause and press X to mark their respect.
    X.

  3. RIP. There’s two upsides though! First, if snapped while going uphill instead of down. Second, new bike day incoming!

  4. Wow you definitely aren’t following the high rise bar trend. There’s like a two foot height difference between your seat and bars.

  5. Is your seatpost above minimum insertion. It looks very high. Either way I would guess that is the source of the force that caused this failure.

  6. I feel your pain, I almost cried tears of sadness. On the bright side though………. You could get a different bike.

I’m wondering from a physics/technical point of view if the extremely high rise of the post didn’t affect the integrity of the aluminum while bearing weight down on climbs at that angle.

What year is your Process? Kona should be able to set you up with a new front triangle.
