  1. They are both pretty solid bikes!
But I would always go with a sunday; just personal preference! (sunday – makes always funday!😁)

I’m a guy that loves Kink. I ride one now and I have had them in the past. But I’d go with the Sunday given the choices. Both are great options but I think the Sunday is a better value for the money in this case.

As far as I read, only the kink features a CroMo frame and fork.

The Sunday has HiTen parts in the fork, which are less durable.

My suggestion, if the geometry is okay with you, is the Kink.

They’re almost equally alike. Except the Kink has 4130 Chromoly Bars, Forks and Cranks. Sunday only has the frame in 4130 and with hi tensile steel bars and forks which are weaker and can break much faster. Only good thing about the Sunday really is the Odyssey Clutch v2 coaster and frame.
Both are good beginner bikes so its up to you what style of riding you’ll be into. Both are great for everything overall but the Sunday might be a little better for street because of the coaster. Eventually you’ll have to upgrade some parts on both bikes. Personally I would chose the Gap XL or Whip XL cause Im pretty sure its cheaper and you’ll really just need to buy a good back wheel.
