I have been searching locally for a 9xx singletrack in my size (and not ridiculously priced) for a few years and this sweet red 970 just popped up. First pic is how it came, other 2 are after a quick initial clean and I threw a few parts from the parts bin on.
Definitely needs some work, has some surface rust/bubbly paint spots, needs tires/brake pads, I’ll most likely change out the handle bars, but overall good shape. Deore XT throughout, wish it had the CroMo fork but maybe I can track something down eventually. Excited to build this out 🙂

Throw a barnacle fork or troll fork on it, would match the black and red so well
