For both, you need whatever adapter your rotor size requires. Both were made for a certain rotor size, so if you run that size rotor you don’t need an adapter for the front, but if you run bigger than for which it’s designed, you need a post to post adapter that adds the correct amount of distance for the fork, and for the back you need an IS to post adapter that adds the correct amount regardless.

Edit: adapters often have markings to show what they’re supposed to fit. They often have a number for the rotor size, and a letter for front or rear, plus an arrow for direction to mount. Your adapter might well be for a 160 on the rear.

  2. To solve this question you need to provide more information about the brakes that originally came with the bike (rotor size, caliper standard IS/Post Mount) and the new rotor size and caliper standard.

I not sure is this possible to solve your problem. Maybe if you have 180 rotor it will be possible. FM calliper to low for IS

  4. So you want to mount flatmount brake calipers on a postmount fork and an is2000 frame. You will need new adapters for that front and back.
Postmount to flatmount for the disc size and is2000 to flatmount for the disc size

Could be a bit hard to find because the combination is exotic but the adpaters exist. Good luck.
