I have a t610 hub and it’s plenty strong, looks like yours was damaged or maybe had a defect?
How old is it? I’d really consider just replacing it with the same hub. Otherwise you’re going to need all new spokes too which will blow up the cost to fix this.

Catastrophic hub breakage near spoke holes is very rare and usually linked to casting or material flaws, not a design issue.
