One minute over Carlos Canal. And there it is with three kilometers to go. Adam Yates, he’ll be feeling fairly secure now. No matter what happens through this final 3K, he’ll be picking up win number 31 of his own career. And since the tour to France, he took it easy. took a little bit of rest and recovery and back into training through August. Had a good time in the the World Tour races in Canada, finishing fifth, finishing fifth in the the race in Moral. ninth yesterday in the Jirro delelia and backing up today with a big performance in a twoman break from around 50 km to go and unfortunately for Carlos Canal he was left behind when he punctured and Adam Yates pushing on to finish the season in style and it’s not quite over yet No, it’s definitely not over yet. Is it a But I think you can also see it’s a visible difference here. The way that that Adam is is turning that gear over um even after this length of time in a breakaway. And when you compare him to K’s Canal, who just looks like it’s a little bit flatter, he’s not really getting on top of that bigger gear and and generating as much speed. Oh, into the streets of Lysony now for Adam Yates turned up here in the team favored for the victory today. The UAE team all conquering this season before today 89 victories. Well, Adam Yates, he’ll be clocking up number 91 for the team. I know the maths might seem strange, but I’ll let everybody else figure it out for themselves a little later on. Yeah, like I said, we just blinked again and there was another one on the board. Carlos Canaldo, credit to him. He’ll be riding in for a fine second place. and unlucky and unfortunate and I think for Carlos Canal a little bit heartbreaking second place. We talked about Adam Yates’s pal MZ already 30 wins in his professional career before today and for Carlos Canal still in search of that elusive maiden pro victory into the final kilometer for Adam Yates as you said Maggie knowing he already has a minute’s lead just to peek over the shoulder just to make sure nobody’s sneaking up on him. Yeah, exactly. Um, it’s a funny old thing. We we all we we’ve all done it and yeah, it’s um I don’t know why we we always do this. We we know we’ve had the latest time gaps from from the team car. Still feel that urge to just make sure just in case. Maybe now taking a peek to see is the team car there. I’d like to give them a wave. Team car is back there into the final few hundred meters for Adam Yates. Made it into the 17man group after about 40 km of racing. Plenty of teammates with him. A lot of eyes on Isak Del Toro who eventually came across as well. But Yates struck out with over 50 km to go with Carlos Canal. Unluckily for the Spaniard, he punctured his way out of the group. And Adam Yates takes win 31 for his career. The 78th Copper Agustoi has Yates engraved on the trophy. [Music] Carlos Canal now also in the final kilometer. Just under 4 hours of riding for Adam Yates. 42 km an hour average. 166 km with 3,000 m of elevation gain throughout the day. It has been aggressive from the get- go. It’s been a very fast race day in perfect conditions in Northern Italy. And Carlos Canal, well, a rofful shake of the head. Also a check over the shoulder just to see that he’s done enough to secure the second place. There’s nobody in the background. the Movi Star team, although be feeling a little bit hard done by today. Really unfortunate timing for the Spaniard, but as they say, that is racing. Carlos Canal will come in to take second place. Another shake of the head. He knows that that is a big opportunity which has eluded him today. But well done on a podium position for the Spaniard. Yeah, you got to take a bit of confidence from it. The fact that you you were able to follow Adam when he went on the climb, but at the same time it’s u yeah, it’s um it will it will feel it’ll be a hard one to swallow. I think the fact that you you puncture out of a racewinning situation where you know you you you felt you would have felt pretty confident that he could he could have uh had a go at that. Yep. Here’s the sprint. Isac del Toro opening up on the front. Look over the shoulder. Well, it’s a lead out by Del Toro. Evo Olivera is the man in white coming through in second wheel as they open up. Roll right through the middle of the road. That’s one of the riders from XDS Astana coming through to try and get the final podium spot just ahead of Victor Lefay who look

UAE blood bags and blood money
Letβs go Adam π¬π§ππΎ
Carlos is faster than Adam…bad luck for him, he is growing up as a good ryder for classics.
Fuck TNT Sports
Great ride Adam..
Robbie not talking about the sprinters making the time limit. What a change!
Is it 91? Procycling stats lists only 90. Pogacar's euro title (like the worlds) presumably doesn't count as he rode for slovenia not UAE in those races.
