Hi,
I have trouble mounting my campagnolo Record crankset on a frame that I just bought.
When mounted, the crank arm (non drive side / left) is touching the frame.
The frame is a Cinelli Vigorelli Shark
Crank arms are 165mm
BB is a Compagnolo Record Pista 111mm
Has anyone got into the same issue ?
If you own/used to own a Cinelli Vigorelli Shark, which crank you had ?
If you own/used to own a Compa Pista, what's your experience with it ?
Thanks a lot

What’s the condition of the NDS arm? If the rapper looks worn out/damaged/rounded that could be the issue. Could also be that it’s a road bb that has an asymmetric spindle, however unlikely. How far off is it?
are we sure that left crank is true? Aluminum can warp. My black SG75s were crashed and one point in the rotation is closer to the frame then the other.
No tech advice, but it would be a real shame if those cranks won’t fit on that frame. Two great Italian brands for the win!
Cranks don’t fit on some frames even with the intended BB. You can just use a wider one, a 115 would only move the chainline by 2mm.
Only cranks I’ve ever snapped. Love campy, but can’t go back personally. Omnium are 15 years old and still as good as the day I bought em.
They were really fun to have, look great and my experience was definitely isolated.
Mmmmm. I have a crispy brand new pair of these going on a fresh build at the moment. Congrats and I hope you can get your problem figured out.
Campy track cranks + BB clearance is insanely tight. Even on my track frame it looks like this. I don’t think it would even fit on some frames.
