$400 in parts does not add $400 in value. It’s still at its core a $750 used bike. I wouldn’t pay more that $200 tops (seriously). Seth from Berm Peak has a good video of putting thousands of dollars worth od parts on a Walmart bike he could still didn’t feel “good”. If he had replaced something like the fork and brakes with high quality parts it might be a good deal. There are a ton of great deals out there! This just isn’t one of them.
Depending where you are located not a terrible price. This price tracks in Canada.
