Brompton dynamo lights (Covent garden install)

Im hoping for a sense check.

I asked the Covent Garden store how much in all an install of a Brompton dynamo and lights would cost last week. I got quoted £190. Today I dropped my bike off at 9 am, at 4pm I called and they had not started it, this was odd because I was assured it would be done, I live in the south coast, so got my assurances it would be done.

That’s by the by. It was done for 1800, fine.

I’m hoping the community will help me understand if this is the quality that the install should be, in short, lots of exposed wires, no shrink wrap and the front wheel wobbles, I can rattle it left and right – is this right? Does anyone else have a c line with a dynamo that can help me compare?

This doesn’t feel right.
