do you know why most F1 drivers live in Monaco because out of the 20 drivers on the grid 13 drivers call Monaco home which doesn’t make sense because there aren’t any team bases in Monaco nor is it the capital of Motorsports however for drivers Monaco has a ton of advantages first it’s really easy to become a citizen you just need to live in Monaco for 6 months the location of Monaco is amazing being the center of all major European Grand pris however the biggest Advantage is the taxes because Monaco is a tax Haven that means drivers don’t have to pay income property or investment taxes making Monaco the the best place in the world for drivers to live in

  1. This video is an utter compilation of BS, F1 drivers tax residency is mostly in Switzerland since it's one of the few countries that allow you to travel more than 6 months a year abroad and stay a fiscal resident unlike Monaco which for being a fiscal resident you need to stay at least 183 days a year. In Switzerland you can negotiate the duration of stay and entering/leaving times as part of a tax package that's why every winter F1 drivers go to Switzerland until they get a Monegasque citizenship.

  2. Ummm no you can not become a citizen here after living here for 6 months lol. You can be a resident and after 10 years of residency you can become a citizen the heck 😂😂
