Picked up this 2016 CAADX Ultegra for £550. Bike is honestly brand new – I reckon it has well under 100miles on it. Ultegra components (aside from chainset and cassette) with hydraulic disks. Going to replace the silly cyclocross gearing (currently 36/46 11-28) and put on a 46/30 and maybe squeeze a 32T on the back… would love to get tubeless wheelset and use the current wheels as a road set. Chuffed to bits with the purchase, great fun to ride!

My main concerns with this as a “do-it-all” bike would be what that encompasses. This frame isn’t really designed for fat tires (>35mm) and I don’t think it has mounting points for racks. So that may or may not be a problem for you.
