First, NEVER sell it.
Because you essentially stole this from someone who didn’t know what they have, I personally would sink money into high-end components and change out almost everything on it.
It’s somewhat sad that the original fork is gone, but the Kestrel EMS forks are pretty cool IMO, and period correct. I have one on my track bike right now. The one potential downsides are that it is a road fork, so it has more rake, and it raises the front end more than it would be if it had the track fork. Just much less tight with that fork on it, but you’re probably never going to find an original fork for that either.
This definitely looks like someone stashed it away in the 90s and forgot about it.
