what the council were going do the council stated to us that in a couple of month there’d be four pods for the owners being delivered on the beach or Tower Gardens it’s been all over it’s been all over the news the papers the radio saying that the pods is are already set up which we checked all over SK and every time we ask the Outreach team that come around and check on us all they keep saying is they’re on the way they’re in they’re in storage ready to get able players with candas and that and the other day we spoke to the Outreach team when they come around about half 54 to 6 in the morning we asked them the same question and they blat to turned around and looked Us in the face turning around and saying that the pods aren’t even in skag n year they’re on the way so we’re thinking F what we do oh we haven’t got the government funds to put you in hotels cuz they’re all about sending my other two friends that’s got a dog that that we all sh that we share two tents down near the Bowling Green they’re even trying to ship those off to Scotland they’re giving offer them a two vot house over in Scotland for a week’s trial the one two of my friends are placing Grimsby one in Doncaster so what we’ve worked out is they’re all trying now to get all the oldest people out of out of skes into Scotland all over that way donter but these pods we’ve turned around and told the Outreach team we will never see him in skegness that Lincoln and everywhere else has got them but apparently they keep fing us off saying no no they haven’t turned up yet and there there’s no point keep asking them because all you do all you do is if you’re a new face they tell you to go to the Storehouse you there about an hour fing a load of paperwork out you know stuff like that and then that’s it you don’t see them for about 3 4 weeks and then all of a sudden they like you say they come around early silly hours in the morning you ask them the same questions and they turn around you got the same answer how long have you been on the streets uh 99 months now how long nine months nine months yeah me me my friend and his girlfriend and the little dog where did it all go wrong for you well I lost my mom of cancer then I lost my dad and then I lost my brother and it set me a bit funny so so you need therapy don’t you I need I need I’ve got um I’ve got support working for anxiety and stuff like that and I’ve got big Grand bad chest infections I’ve got hospital pors but you know that’s the cycle of life as well we do lose people yeah you know and sometimes you know that’s not the solution is it going out but all they keep saying to me is why don’t you consider going back to Lincoln because one I’ve got no family I’ve got no contacts in there and you go over Lincoln someone went over there the other week they got robbed because they miss the last train and the last B they ended up sleeping in Lincoln Town Center how many people are on the streets in a uh five five that’s it there’s five of us five Hess yeah because well when the season starts there’ll be a lot more coming from Lincoln in the chapel all stuff like that and once they turn up it’s like there couple of weeks ago this Lad last Turned Up From Doncaster they was owners within 3 days the csel got them in an Hotel yeah they got them in an Hotel would you say this was you know a violent place uh it is getting a violent place now yes have you witnessed any that well yeah there’s been SS a lot apparently there’s been three stabbings one death and one of my best mates was recent yeah they found him dead in the U Marine car park down there one they don’t know what his ey on but they did an autopsy and everything and yeah it’s you know it’s just got baffled ever since the death of our friend that was on the street it’s got the c a bit worried because they got what was it the standard they got everybody on their back turning around and saying why didn’t you help these own people more yeah and then uh well we was in a caravan all summer uh then we went into an hotel for over winter but the hotel got uh got condemned it was [ __ ] absolute [ __ ] all yeah uh so he paid for us to go into another hotel for a couple of nights then I tried paying uh asking to see if I could pay for a month yeah and don’t don’t do it that’s it now you’re on the streets so we’ve been on the street for about 5 week now know what let me give you this little bit of advice get get yourself off the crack right get yourself to meetings do some kind of formal recovery I mean there’s different Pathways I I want to get back back to work I I usually work all the time how old are you me 36 okay so you’re still a young man you got plenty of years left ahead of you oh yeah right you don’t want to be like that Garden in exactly what I said to Lee I said look what happens if you die y while you’re waiting and it’s freezing cold yeah well that’s that’s that were it wer a lad he were an adult W full sound as already were in his 50s if that late 40s early 50s sound as all it really really polite and if you know say on the streets we were all up in a good mood and this s over and like I said it passed away in then up by that yeah in literally in this park in this park on bench up there and it passed away cuz it coldness I think B said that before yeah he said there’s been a few stabbings up here there’s been oh he been stabbed he’s been stabbed I got stabbed uh last summer yeah I got stabbed where did you get stabbed shoulder and I see your eye I got it with a brick is that recent no years don’t give us a hot meal we we can go to Salvation arm meal St every morning get cup of tea and toast right and that’s it for day uh there’s a St what they call St house down there where all all
