Oh, [ __ ] Roy. There’s a down. Oh, [ __ ] so deep. All right, guys. Pit bite Sonic here. Look, something totally new today, guys. We are doing pit bike flat tracking here at Scumfort Speedway track. I think they do banger cars here as well. I have no idea what to expect from today. No idea. I think we’ve got four races in total. Three heats and a final. Starting random grid positions. I’ve had all my grid positions where I’m starting. I think there’s 15 of us on the grid. This is going to be absolutely insane. I’ll show you the bike in a bit. Massive thank you to Dean and Harrison. You all know Harrison. He is the guy who’s beating me in the 140 championship at the moment or we’re battling it out for the championship. Um, so massive thank you to them cuz they’ve set this all up for me this weekend. Um, yeah, it’s just going to be mental flat tracking on a pit bike, no front brake. Yeah, I’m absolutely [ __ ] it a little bit, but you guys want to see this content. Um, this is a regular thing. You can come do this all the time and it is dirt cheap. So, from coming from Snetton last weekend where the entry fee was £520, today’s entry entry fee was £40. So, yeah, bang for your buck here today definitely. Um, but yeah, flat tracking on a pit bike. Let’s go show you the bike I’m riding. Chris is here as well today. He will do a bit better at this because he has a lot more off-road experience than I do. I’ve got pretty much zero. Definitely racing. I’ve got zero. So, it’s going to be fun. I can have the GoPro on my helmet as well, guys. So, it’s going to be funny listening to me. I’d probably mostly be screaming, but yeah, it’s going to be really good fun. Number here, your grid position is So, where are you? No. So, what on the grids here? They line up rows of five. So, five, five, five. Right. Okay. So there you’ll be on front road position three. Like I said, this is proper shed building racing. This is Harrison’s bike, which is a normally Honda C90 rear end pit bike front end. I mean, what a contraption. This is This is Chris’s bike. What frame is this thing? This uh Der It’s an old derby sender frame. with a pit bike engine. Is there things like worse than this out there? Not worse. I mean I mean it’s home built, but I mean looking wise. Yeah. But no, this is probably the most Mad Max thing out there. Journey was all right. So, the vibe I’m getting from this really, guys, is there’s no rules really. It’s just go out and have a really good time, which is mega. Um, there’s no dyno. There’s no like all 15 horsepower limit or any of that. Um, it’s literally just do what you like. They don’t even have transponders, guys. It is real old school. Someone on the line writing it down with a pen and paper. So, yeah, proper just freeall racing. So, it’s going to be good fun. Yeah, not to come last is uh that would be amazing but there’s no expectations whatsoever today guys. This is the start or isn’t it is the second weekend of five weekends away racing. So last weekend we had Sny obviously flat tracking today. Next weekend that is Free Sisters Fab. Then we’re at Brands Hatch with Bempy. I’ll explain to you later how I managed to get the money to be able to do that. And then we’ve got free tech at Free Sisters. So, five race weekends in a row we’re doing. This is insane, guys. Like, it’s Yeah, you just got let the bike do what it needs to do. That’s it really. Um, it’s totally different to what I’ve ever done. So, you out on this. Yeah, we got another three heats yet before we get to a final. It’d be nice not to get lapped. I think I am going to come last every race, but it’d be nice not to get lapped. But, uh, yeah, enjoy it, Chris. Yeah, it was mega. You were very good. You were on the Frankenstein bike. Hey, she’s a She’s a She’s a be beautiful in his mom’s eyes. You got him round the track. Yeah. Yeah. Nearly lacked me. So, yeah. Going to the second heat. Hopefully a lot less poo this one. That would be um yeah, a lot better. Right, so we’re on the front row for this race, guys. Fourth on the grid. Let’s just try do a little better. We’re going to come last. Let’s just try and mean you don’t get time to learn a lot. The time you start, the race is over. Look, we’re actually nearly keeping with people. Oh, I’m actually getting it sliding a bit. not been lapped yet. It must be coming close though. We’re so close to not getting lapped. And look, I can see people. We got lapped on the last corner. We can do it. Next one. Next one we will not get lapped. Oh, that was loads better. Right, next one I’m having your dad. We are on the back row for this one, though, which I’m a bit gutted about. But as you can see, we only just got lapped in that last one on the last corner. So, if we cannot get lapped in this one, uh, that would be mega. And just get a little bit closer to the front. But yeah, back row. Back row. So, see what we can do. I’m loving this though, guys. I’m straight on Facebook Marketplace looking for a little shitty pit bike when I get back because uh I want to come do more of this. It is a lot of fun and it’s really inexpensive as well. 40 quid. 40 quid the entry was. And literally you can do it on anything. You can get any bike. There’s nothing really as long as it’s got two wheels and an engine. Or it don’t even have to have an engine. You could do this on probably a a Suron or a a Taria or if you got loads of money a uh what’s the expensive electric bike called? What are the expensive electric bikes called? Starks. Starks. Yeah, you could probably do it on a Stark as well. But to be honest with you, a little 125 pit bike like this, away you go. All right, let’s do this. This is so much fun. Yeah. Right. So, three heats down. Uh one more to go and then the final. We’re on the front row for the last one. So fingers crossed we cannot come last. We’re getting closer and closer um to not coming last. But man, I’m enjoying this. I’m definitely straight on Facebook for sale when I get home and looking for a a scrap motocross pit bike. Whatever it be, 110, 125, 140, 160. I don’t care. I just want to find someone to come do this because it is so much fun. And I think it’s beneficial for like super moto riding because obviously you don’t slide it about on a super moto, but if you do have a slide, you can control it better because you’re doing this, which is yeah, absolutely mega. Chris is doing really well on um the Where is he? There he is. Chris is doing really well on the motocross bike cuz he’s brought his gas gas there and he’s actually had two second places, which I don’t think you expected that, did you? Three second places. So, um he’s on for a trophy. I think Harrison’s won every race bar one I think. Um so yeah um everyone’s going to be walking away with a trophy apart from me. But this is the trophy a day. I’m having so much fun. So yeah, fingers crossed this next one front row we are not going to come last. Right, second attempt. For some reason they made us stop because of the rain. I don’t know why it’s stopped raining now. Let’s just see. Let’s go. [Music] Front row. Second place. Oh my god, I’m going [ __ ] filthy. Oh, he said it’d be more grippy. Oh, [ __ ] riders are down. Oh, [ __ ] no. Oh [ __ ] Oh, there’s riders down everywhere. [ __ ] hell. [ __ ] me. That was sketchy. I can see why they [ __ ] stopped us. You [ __ ] smashed me in that puddle went everywhere. Oh my god, I a [ __ ] mess. Oh, that was so much fun. I hope we’re restarting. I am a [ __ ] mess. Hopefully everyone’s okay. You went through that puddle. [Music] That was quality. That was slippery. [Music] I hope we get restarted. Well, I wouldn’t have come last. So many people. Well, I think they had car problems and and yeah, there were a few crashes as well, but I didn’t realize those puddles would be that deep. Oh, that was filthy. Oh, that was proper back streets of Benador sort of stuff. That was filthy. Oh, so much fun though. I’m not looking forward to seeing the state of my face. Right. A few people have come in the pits cuz uh their car weren’t running right. So, we’re a bit light on the grid for this restart. It was [ __ ] slippery out there, though, compared to the first one. I think I’m on the front rail on my own. All on my own. Right, here we go. Restart. Didn’t get the best of start in the first one. Let’s try You won’t believe it how slippy this is. It’s like being on ice. [Music] Heat up here. Well, overtaking someone points, but I don’t care. It’s an overtake. There’s just [ __ ] fish tailing everywhere. We did get lapped again. I think it was close though. That was [ __ ] slippery. Technically, we didn’t come last, but out of the guys that finished, we did. Woo! Right, here we go then. The final I think we’re going to be on the back row. I don’t think we’re quite going to be last on the grid because uh obviously there are quite a few DNFS in that last race. A lot of people with water getting in cars and there are a few crashes as well. So, I don’t think we’re going to be last on the grid. But, oh yeah, it’s just been mega. Hopefully, I can fit another bike in the garage. What’s Wendy going to say? Chris has really uh enjoyed the day as well. The worst thing is is Chris lives 10 minutes from here and he’s never known this has happened. And with the motocross bike that he’s riding that’s over there is gas gas. It’s road registered so he could ride it here, race it and ride it home again. I don’t know why his excuse has been, but yeah, massive thank you for Dean for giving this opportunity to do this. It’s mega fun and I’d recommend any of you guys who do super moto pit bikes to come give it a go because uh yeah, it’s mega fun and like I said 40 quid entry for the day and I’m getting six races. There’s no practice or qualify in mind but let’s see if we can not come last. That’s why I don’t think we are going to come last cuz I said I think people have had bike issues. But it’d be nice to beat someone who’s like actually moving. But we haven’t been lapped in any of these laces apart from the first one when we were kind of like I didn’t have a [ __ ] clue what I was doing. There we go. Final time. Oh. Oh, thank you, Chris. Oh, [ __ ] hell. Oh, [ __ ] It is [ __ ] slippery. Oh. Oh my god. Oh, Dean’s down. Dean’s down. That is [ __ ] slippery. There is no slide absolutely everywhere. Heat up here. Now we’re not losing any time on this first head. Oh, front is going. is going. We’re going to get lapsed in this last one. And we’re done. Well done. Chris got third. Oh, mate. That really improved my just my riding. Two. One. Hold on. We got Heat. Heat. [Music] So Chris got a third in the pit bike final and he’s just got a second in the motocross final. So he’s walking away with two trophies. Lucky bugger. I’m going to kill you. [Music] [Music] Third place for Harrison in the junior final. [Music] Definitely the bike in it, Harrison. Yeah. Yeah. It’s very twitchy, isn’t it? It was nothing to do with the rider, was it? No. No. Good. That’s what I like to hear. [Music] Right guys, so that’s the end of the day here at Scunthorp Flat Track. That was so much fun. I know I was pretty bad at it, but yeah, all I can say is Harrison went out on this bike in his final and he only come third and he said it was twitchy as hell. This bike that I was riding today um has got all super moto setting in it. So, it’s really stiff, maybe a bit too stiff for this flat tracking. So, um of course I’m going to blame the bike. It was nothing to do with me. But whatever bike I get next, um it’s probably going to seem like a piece of cake. Um, so probably with some motocross suspension in or dirt suspension, whatever you want to call it, uh, in would help a lot. But yeah, really enjoyed it. Harrison got a third in his final. Chris got a third in the pit bike final and then got a second in the motocross final. Harrison’s now got to go out for another one of his finals. Guys, come and do this. It’s not expensive. Go get yourself a cheap motocross pit bike off Facebook for sale for like 300 quid and just come give it a go. Anything goes. You can have motocross wheels on PMT wets like are on this bike.
