Hello, I am looking to move up from an alloy bike to either building my own bike, or buying a steel hardtail. So selling a 2022 Marin San Quentin 2 Size Large, made changes to the bike from going a cup & cone style bearings to cartridge bearings Crankbrothers Synthesis while keeping the original parts that came on the bike when I bought during the Pandemic. Used to be at $1000, 1st people offered $600, after some negotiating back and forth we settled at $700 sadly there is no communication on their end simply unable to move forward without hearing from them moved onto the next buyer. Two others tried, most recent person asked for a trade for a pc which I already have which I turned down immediately, and all have failed current price right now $850. I still have the original 11 speed Shimano Shifter, derailleur, and the only thing missing the 11-51 cassette my plan is to install is to install them onto the bike removing the 9 speed Box Prime 9 while keeping the price the same.

  1. I’m trying to sell a same similar bike and have it at a fair price but everyone wants it cheaper. Just took it out for a spin and like it again(Fuji Big Horn- fat tire) We just have to be patient.

Take the 600 and be happy. A new one is 959 and imo this class of bicycle is always overpriced for what you get.
