  1. Velocity Cliffhangers or Simworks Standalones (which are just Cliffhangers with added eyelets). Solid rims, fit the tires you should be putting on there, and come in silver, which will pop against that green.

Can’t advise on wheels but I love the color of the frame. And i love that it’s safely seatbelted into your vehicle lol

Check ebay, i was able to get a new 650b wheelset that was intended for a conversion on a 26” mtb. Affordable and worked with rim brake

What a deal! I’d go for Velocity A23 or Velocity Quill. Velomine has had the a23’s on sale before.

  5. ok wow everyone thank you for the insightful comments. will post updates on the build later

The velocity cliffhanger is better, but [these Alex adventurer 2](https://www.universalcycles.com/shopping/product_details.php?id=105456&attribute=260960&store=14997598&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=793175996&gclid=CjwKCAjwi4PHBhA-EiwAnjTHuaIbPq2sY8kpP0y3dT4GPLeqp7zvkvVjIlx5vt433zeNiN6GvmkMARoC-_wQAvD_BwE) wheel are a good value if you’re looking for something cheaper. Shimano huds and DT Swiss spokes. I’ve used them on a couple builds and haven’t been disappointed.

  7. I bought a Crust WR wheel set about 2 months ago. Your size has a choice between polished or anodized. Tubeless and 26mm internal width which I like. I have the 700c set and am mostly happy with them. I’ve only put about 500ish miles on them, so no long term experience.

    *$200*?

    Nice.

Sims Standalones, brass nips, CXRays/Aerolites, Son28, VO Gran Cru w/XDR driver.

$200 is a phenomenal deal for that frameset. Velocity quill is my go-to for everything where I’m not hauling heavy loads. But if you don’t want to build wheels I’d just buy the first reasonably priced secondhand wheelset with wide enough rims to accommodate the tires I’d want to run.
