Hey all! Was looking around for my first single speed bike and saw a nicely priced listing for one in my size.
I’m pretty new to biking in general, could I get some help identifying if the rust on the screws is surface rust and won’t affect the ride longterm, or if I’m better off replacing them asap/getting a new bike? She said it’s from having it sit in her garage and only has scratches on the handbrake.

I’d suggest replacing the rusted bits. They’ll eventually fall apart.

$200 is a bit steep depending where u areI’d offer $100 tops
i would go with a mt bike first, so you can use it everywhere 🤘
