Help my bontrager rear thru axel was stuck I had to hammer it out, I want to order new one but not sure which one it’s correct one on trek website, this is not a switch thru axel, can I upgrade to switch axel or I will need some upgrade kit ect? Bike it’s a Trek fuel ex5 27.5 plus 2019

Uhhhh… what do you mean by hammer in out? Are the threads in the frame still there?
A few points here…
Does your rear derailleur have a clutch? Did you release the clutch? Did you have the most amount of slack in your chain? Was the chain on the smallest chainring and smallest cog?
Most importantly, use trek’s online chat feature, or go to your local bike shop, to find a better thru axle. Have your serial number ready to give the CSR and they’ll be able to find the correct thru axle for you.
