It’s totally subjective but I think they’d look rad. I have a set on a bike in a completely different color and I love them.

  2. I love these vintage frames. The marketing booth hipsters all had them at the gravel bike race I did this past weekend. I wish i had my mid 90s bike now too:)

I don’t think they match the bike, but i’m somewhat tired of seeing them wich makes me not unbiased. I’d go for Panaracer Gravelking SK’s (Put sealant in the tubes or go tubeless, poor puncture protection), or Conti Speed King in the rear/ Raceking in the front (Black Chili). All avaliable with Tanwall i think.
Very cheap Alternative, but still an Improvement: Conti Double Fighter. Pretty quick for a Wire Bead, rolls smooth on Pavement but has decent Knobs on the Sides for taking Corners on looser Terrain, wich has proven to me as beeing pretty effective. They have a bit more of a Square Shape wich matches a retro MTB better imo. But only avaliable in all black.

Beautiful bike, and yes I think brown or tan walls would look exquisite on this frame. The colors would look so damn good with walled tires.

  5. I was not a fan of the DTH. It’s not fast rolling on pavement under 50 PSI. Race kings and gravel kings are good options. Also the rat trap pas if you’re feeling like a baller.

  6. I love tan walls on everything so don’t let folks tell you that only black looks good. In my opinion the DTH didn’t roll as fast as I wanted them to and I think my Billy Bonkers roll faster. I’m always recommending Billy Bonkers for people that ride mixed terrain.

Definitely would match the bike. I feel like I’m on a cloud with the single compound folding 2.15

  8. I think the black Billy Bonkers 26 x 2.1 tires would look great on this. Let the orange paint be the attention-grabber

  9. Personally I don’t think tan wall will look good, I think it will clash with the orange frame, brown on orange not really a good contrast. But if you like it then go for it.
However, if you’re looking for a new tire in general, I really recommend continental traffic tires. I don’t really see people recommend them on here, but the center tread is super close together and rolls fast, but it’s still comprised of big knobs so it grips well off road. Also pretty affordable
