Plasmatic, known to some simply as Plag, is the absolute jackpot for infrastructure fanatics. Not only is it home to one of my favorite comically tall road signs, but they also went all out with cycling infrastructure here, giving us some truly graceful cycling tracks and loads of traffic calming measures on the quiet roads around the housing area, as well as all of these little marked cycle lanes that allow bikes to slip through between the islands and the sidewalk. I can’t explain why I love it, but I love the fact that that then creates these tiny narrow giveaway segments.

It hits me the same as walking through the tubberware/thermos isle – things that just FIT together, were made to integrate "just so", to work perfectly. Everything has its place, and it works beautifully 🤩 so mentally satisfying 😅
