A round the world motorcyclist stranded in England after his bike was stolen has just been given a lifeline thanks to the generosity of a local dealership. Yogesh Alakari from India had already crossed 17 countries more than 15,000 m on his KTM 390 Adventure before disaster struck in Nottingham on August 28th. His bike was stolen from Watton Park, putting his entire journey in jeopardy. Police later confirmed that an 18-year-old man was arrested in Doncaster on suspicion of vehicle theft and other offenses, but the bike still missing. That’s when the off-road center, a motorcycle dealership in Mansfield Woodhouse decided to step in. Managing director Ben Ledwig and his team donated a KTM 790 Adventure free of charge to Yogesh. They even placed it in his name, so crossing borders on his journey wouldn’t be a problem. Once paperwork is sorted and he replaces his stolen gear, Yogesh plans to ride into France, Spain, Portugal, and then Africa, continuing his epic round the world adventure. But the hunt for his original KTM 390 adventure is far from over. Nottingham Shere police say their investigation is ongoing and are urging anyone with information to come forward. [Music]
