I just bought a very used pelago hanko with a 10 speed microshift advent group. I already have new chain and cassette on hand. However… the RD looks in bad shape and It doesnt want to go toward the small cog. Is it because of a faulty spring or what should i look for ?
Would it be worth restoring or just buying a new?

Spring could be worn, or corroded/sticky pivots. Try a drop of lube on each of the pivot points to see if that helps.
Looks like Jenson has RDs on sale if you need a new one.
