What a great way to end my ride, opened my shoes with normal force, and instead of opening, the whole boa broke off from my Shimano S-phyre shoes. These shoes are around 1 month old and have couple of hundred kms behind then. As far as I see it seem unfixable, as the boa bottom is integrated to the shoe. I expected more from a shoe that costs hundreds of euros…

Looks like it should just pop back in?
You weren’t just riding along?
Boa stuff breaks all the time. No idea why people use it
What are you downvoting me? You know I’m right.
You do know that most big mane products have a year warranty right? I mean I very much get the frustration of having to deal with something like this for something so new but instead of getting on here to complain, get with the company you got them from so you can get a free replacement. Your case study of 1 pair of shoes to Shimano’s millions of units produced doesn’t seem to warrant blasting the company quite yet.
If I read correctly, you said “euros”. If that is true you are eligible for 2 year warranty, even for shoes.
Had bad luck with boa on snowboard boots.
I hope Shimano hooks u up on warranty fix
This style is called “The van der Poel.”
My 90s Puma Disc System survived a couple of years, but I’m not buying the BOA Ski boots I saw yesterday
Velcro never breaks
Boa lifetime warranty? https://www.boafit.com/en-us/support
This is repairable and will be covered under boas lifetime warranty. A local bike shop may have the spare parts.
