I'm going to buy a brompton t Line 4 speeds and I want to think about improvements especially in speeds. What do you think of the brommieplus kit to add a fifth sprocket? Does it seem relevant to you combined with a 44-tooth tray? Besides, I have these carbon rims, is it worth mounting them (without the sturmey archer gear) ?

if you are chasing speed, using 44T makes no sense, personally speaking. have u tried the stock 50T or 56T chainring for T-Line? also, do not undermine the positive effect of proper pedaling position that is helpful to unleash the most efficient pedaling. remember, to go faster you simply have to pedal faster.
