1st season riding, have maybe 10-12 days of experience. This was maybe a 2-3ft drop, I felt pretty confident but not enough to try the bigger drop. Any tips or criticism?
You’re weighted too far back. Excellent way to lose control if you land wrong. Be centered more and try again until you’re comfortable with that.

More speed and same technique or same speed and different technique.

I don’t think so, but I also follow the just send it mindset.
Your legs are almost fully bent as you go off/land the jump. You cannot absorb the impact of the jump correctly if you continue like that. Otherwise, drops are completely a mind game imo. It’s hard to mess up bad.

The 2nd one looked like pretty much bang on drop technique to me. But its early days for you and no rush 😉 So I would just keep sending it over and over until it becomes second nature. Try going much faster (just for the experience) because some drops are gonna be high speed. And you will notice that the faster you go the less work you have to do. When you are doing the correct technique and landing good every single time without any sketchiness its time to go higher.
