Found on fb marketplace and from what I could find on google, it’s a vintage bike (?). Owner says it’s in good condition and from the pics there doesn’t seem to be any visible rust but I’m new to all of this so can someone help me out? It’s selling for $50.

Nah. I put this in the old but not vintage category. It was never a good bike. And it’s not bad enough to be fun.
It’s worth at least $50 if it’s in a good rideable condition. Id check things like the brakes, shifting, trueness of the wheels, etc. if you don’t have to sink more money into it, then it’s probably a good deal.
It’s definitely not any more valuable because it’s “vintage”. It’s an old bike from sears probably from the 80s or 90s. If it fits you well, and rides ok then I think $50 is fair
