So guys, I’m having a hard time with suspension. My SAG is locked in and around 25% but I can’t figure out what to look for when adjusting rebound and compression. As in, I don’t know what indicators on the ride I need to look for to adjust either rebound or compression and in what direction. (Also high and low for both)
It does feel like I’m climbing up to tech and the bike is shaking off trail, like I almost bounce coming into it the tech. It makes it hard to maintain.
Also, I’m getting some hand pain now. Like my hands begin hurting p fast.
I feel like I had it dialed in, and then I took it to a bike shop and when I got it back, the suspension was completely fucked.
Anyways, any suggestions on how to learn how to adjust?
Colors are sick huh.

reading the owners manual as provided by the manufacturer is a good starting point for understanding the basics and what and how to adjust your fork, especially if you have no idea what direction to turn your various rebound/compression settings.

then look up “suspension bracketing” in google.

On the subject of rebound….

Is that not an enormous fork for a hardtail?
