
Noticed it just now (took whole drivetrain apart and didn't catch it before). Should I try to torque it down to spec or just leave it be? Had some problems with dialing the shifting in, might it be the cause? I imagine it might create some problems similar to bent hanger.

If it’s torqued to spec and shifting fine…..then don’t swear it. Otherwise, torque to spec, make sure it’s aligned, then you’re good to go.
