My current bike is clean and dialed. I think a 21” would help, but I’ve always had a 20.5”. Worth buying a new frame just to see? Or no? I’m 200lb 6’-0”
Got any homies or local spots you could visit, or bike shop that’d let you test ride? Frame size is like *the* most important thing to know, so no I don’t suggest buying without trying first.
That being said, at 6’ you’d prob notice a world of difference with a proper fitting frame. More comfort, control, more leeway for error, all kindsa stuff. There is a little personal preference that comes into play so you might want a 21”, maybe a 21.25”, etc- but 20.5” is def too small. I’m 5’8” and ride 20.75”
1100Wien on
I‘m 5‘7(?) – 172cm…. I have a 20″, 20.5″, 20.75″, and a 21″ bike. For me just personally, I mostly ride my 21″ bike because I love it and it feels best (personal preference).
But at 41 I‘m also an older dude 😉
