Switching dropper lever from sram matchmaker to Shimano i spec ii, what do I need?

I’m switching out a set of Sram Code R brakes for some Shimano SLX ones. Nothing wrong with Sram, more power to those who love them, I’ve just accepted that I get on better with the Shimano feel. Bike is a 2023 Status, if that matters in any way.

The Sram shifter and Specialized dropper lever are mounted to the brake levers via matchmaker. I’d like to mount them to the SLX levers via i spec ii. I know I can sort out the shifter with a problem solvers adapter. Simple enough. However I don’t know what I need to deal with the dropper lever.

…but they insist that it will only with with their droppers. Nobody was smart enough to make a universal level mount standard? Or are OneUp just kinda lying?

I guess I could just use the specialized clamp? Though I can’t seem to find it anywhere but Specialized itself (for $9 shipping). And I’d prefer to set up i spec ii mounting if possible.
