Which bike? I’m new to the sport so the obvious 27.5 vs 29 makes sense to me but the fork/drivetrain etc is beyond me so I’m not sure which set up is better and if it’s worth the price.
I’m in Texas so the trails are pretty mild. Is the 29 worth the difference of a few hundred dollars?

i think shimano slx is much better than sram nx.
29 will be nicer on mild trails. 27.5 is fun if you’re jumping or riding rowdier stuff and know what you want, but if you are an average sized dude or bigger then the 29 is nice for most things
I used to have that Giant Trance x 29 before gifting it to my father in law. It’s a really great bike for sure! Loved it! Definitely love bikes with 29 especially on the uphill or through technical.
Better act fast.
Get the 29 with SLX package. That’s a bomb ass bike that’ll get shreddy on anything in Tejas

Im 5’9 and 27.5 is nice on steep +30° with drops/tech, other than that 29 is better
